Sage Seed Packet
Perennial: A fragrant, slightly bitter herb used extensively for flavouring meats, soups, omelettes and cheese dishes. Grows to 30-60 cm (12-24") tall.
Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in mid to late May, August and September or start them indoors and transplant outside after the danger of frost is past. Space 2 cm (3/4") apart and sow 6 mm (1/4") deep in a sunny site with average soil. Thin to 15 cm (6") apart.
Comments: Use leaves of this tender perennial fresh or dried.
