Annual: Stunning 5-petalled, cup shaped white blossoms about 2.5 cm (1") across. Each petal is highlighted with delicate purple-blue veins and same coloured blotch at the tip.
Sowing: Sow seed indoors 3 mm (1/8") deep in mid-March. Keep at 16C (60F) during the 10-20 day germination period as well as when growing on. Harden off seedlings then plant outside in late spring. Direct sow outdoors in April-May. Thin plants to 20 cm (8") apart in the garden.
Comments: Does well in cool weather. Great for afternoon shaded rock gardens, borders and planters.
