Days to Harvest: 40. This heat resistant lettuce produces tight clusters of medium green leaves shaped somewhat like oak leaves. Good flavour and tender texture.

Sowing: Sow seeds in successive crops every 2 weeks from April on as long as weather is cool. Grows best in organic, well drained soils in sunny locations. Can be sown in rows, blocks or squares.

Comments: Harvest by either pulling entire plant or by cutting leaves at least 3 cm (1") above the base to encourage new leaf growth.
