Days to Harvest: 55. A compact, very attractive, loose leaf lettuce with frilly leaves tinged with beautiful crimson edges. Lolla Rosso is an excellent variety for small gardens and a great selection for adding colour and texture to salad dishes. Also lends itself to container culture.
Sowing: Sow seed in a sunny or semi-shaded area. Seed can be sown every two weeks from April to August as long as the weather is cool. Keep lettuce evenly watered through the season.
Comments: Harvest by cutting off selected leaves or by pulling the entire plant then trimming off the stem with a sharp knife.
