Perennial: A fine flowering, nicely shaped, very fragrant lavender that has superb heat and drought tolerance. As a bonus, this elegant perennial flowers is the first year from seeding!

Sowing: Sow seed indoors in paper pots anytime from January to March. Barely cover seed and germinate at 23-24C (72-76F). After germination, which generally occurs in 10-14 days, grow on at 18C (65F). It is very important to grow the seedlings in a fairly dry medium as excessive moisture can kill them. Harden off seedlings and transplant outside to a sunny site after the danger of frost is past. Seed can also be sown directly is the garden in late May.

Comments: For best results, plant in full sun in very well drained soil. Allow the soil to dry before watering.
