Hollyhock Seed Packets - Double Apricot
Biennial: A pretty biennial useful in background plantings and for screening walls or fences. Fully double powderpuff-like flowers up to 8 cm (3") across are held well above the foliage.
Sowing: Sow indoors in March. Lightly cover seed with growing medium and keep near 20 C (68 F). Once germination occurs, grow on under lights at a temperature near 15 C (60 F). Harden off seedlings then plant outside once the danger of frost has passed. Seed can also be sown directly in the garden in August for flowering in the following year.
Comments: For best results, plant in full sun in an area with good air circulation. Do not crowd plants - space 60 cm (24") apart in the garden.
Approx. 25-30 sds/pkt.
