Hollyhock Seed Packets - Chaters Double Mixed

Perennial: Tall plants are loaded with fully double flowers in rose, salmon, buff, yellow, red or white with a cushion centre. Excellent for screening walls and fences or at the back of the perennial border.

Sowing: Start seeds indoors in March. Sow 6 mm (1/4") deep. Germinate at 18C (65F) for 21-28 days. Direct outdoor sowings can be done May to July. Space mature plants 60 cm (24") apart in the garden.

Comments: Best treated as a hardy biennial, these hollyhocks will not bloom until the second year.
