Annual: Brilliantly coloured foliage plants for bedding, window boxes and containers. The perfect candidate for those shady spots in the garden. Excellent indoor plant.

Sowing: Start seed 6-8 weeks early indoors, cover seed with 1/4 cm (1/8") of soil. Germinate at 24C (75F) for 8-12 days. Grow on slightly cooler at 18-20C (65-70F). Transplant late May, spacing 25 cm (10") apart. Coleus prefers partial to full shade.
