Chinese Lantern Seed Packets - Physalis Franchetti

Perennial: Also known as Strawberry Tomato or Winter Cherry. Bushy plants are filled with orange lantern shaped pods, which are as attractive in the garden as they are in dried bouquets.

Sowing: Start seeds indoors before March. Sow 2 mm (1/16") deep in fine soil. Germinate for 3 weeks at 20C (68F).

Comments: To dry fruits, pick when they show colour. Strip leaves and hang in dark, airy location.
