Days to Harvest: 40. A popular Chinese green with thick shiny leaves on cylindrical flowering stalks with flower buds that are similar to rapini. This plant is best harvested when the tender young stalks produce flower buds. Leaves, stems and flower buds are used in stir-fries, salads and soups.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors about two weeks before your last frost date. Tsoi-Sim can also be sown from mid to late August. Two or three sowings can be made at that time in 5 day intervals for late September to early October harvest.

Comments: Rapid temperature change from cool to warm temperatures will cause this plant to bolt to seed very quick.
