Days to Harvest: 72. One of the most popular storage varieties. Orange-scarlet roots are smooth and even shaped, and grow to 15 cm (6") long and 2.5 cm (1") thick.

Sowing: Sow carrots in well prepared light soil after the soil temperature rises above 7.5C (45F).

Comments: Keep the seedbed evenly moist avoiding crusting over while the seeds are sprouting. Do not use a high nitrogen fertilizer.
