Days to Harvest: 75. Open pollinated variety produces a large, excellent quality melon weighing up to 2 kg (4 lb). Salmon coloured flesh is thick, firm and sweet. Ideal for local market gardeners.

Sowing: Best sown indoors mid-April to mid-May or outdoors in late May. Seeds need warm sandy soil and 5-10 days at 21C (70F) to germinate properly.

Comments: Well rotted manure or organic matter dug into the bottom of each hill is very beneficial.
