Annual: The 1cm (1/2") long leaves on this dense, bushy plant have a great spicy taste.

Sowing: Sow seeds outdoors in late May to early June or start them indoors and transplant after danger of frost is past.  Space 6mm (1/4") apart and sow 4mm (3/16") deep in a sunny site with average soil.  Thin to 30cm (12") apart.

Comments: Perfect for pesto.
