Alyssum Seed Packets - Royal Carpet

Annual: The number one plant for edgings and borders. Very compact (6") mound-shaped plants are filled with vibrant, purple-red blooms, with a tiny white bee.

Sowing: Start seed 4-6 weeks before last frost. Cover seed with 1/2 cm (1/4") of fine soil. Germinates at 21C (70F) in 3-5 days. Direct sow outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Transplant hardened-off seedlings into moist soil. Blooms in just six weeks from sowing.
