A North American native. Produces a daisy flower. They make a bold statement in a sunny border or an open meadow. Recent smaller varieties are excellent in small gardens and containers. 

SunSeeker Salmon Coneflower has double row of striking petals in shades of pink, salmon, and rose that shoot straight out, bring an ethereal mood to the garden. These salmon petals sometimes have a little yellow in the center, especially when just opening, which highlights the bright green center cone. As these flowers mature the petals turn a soft pink which then surrounds intense crimson cones. The large blooms are held on erect stems so you can enjoy their sweet fragrance with ease. Makes a great cut flower.
