50lb Peanuts in the Shell

Peanuts in the shell (whole peanuts) are one of the best treats you can offer birds. It is well known that blue jays and woodpeckers love them, but so do many other species.

Blue jays go “crazy” for peanuts in the shell and will often visit your feeder every day to dine on them. Blue jays will even go so far as call for them (or even scream) if you have forgotten to put out “their” peanuts. Peanuts in the shell are best served in a platform feeder or special whole peanut feeder such as the Whole Peanut Wreath Feeder.
