Grow your Philodendron in bright filtered light, but out of direct sunlight.

During the active growth period water moderately, giving enough at each watering to moisten the potting mixture throughout, and allowing the top half inch of potting mixture to dry out in between waterings. During the short mid winter rest period water only enough to keep the entire mixture from drying out completely.

Throughout the months while philodendrons are actively growing apply fertilizer once every two weeks.
