2.5” Stapelia Leendertziae (Carrion Flower)


The Stapelia Leendertziae, or commonly known as Carrion Flower due to the flower smelling like rotting flesh, is a succulent with long, erect, angular, dull green to reddish stems. It will form very unique large, bell-shaped, deep reddish to dark purple, and up to 5” long flowers. They like minimal water and some fertilizer during the growing season and complete water withdrawal during the winter months. They like bright indirect light and not full sun.  They natural live underneath shrubs, so they can not handle full sun.
