Great Colour in Spring. Will tolerate poor, dry soil, are deer resistant and can be left undisturbed for years for colour every spring.  Can be used as a cut flower.  The seed pods give textural interest in the garden through late summer.

Big round heads of mauve-purple flowers in late spring. The tall stems are excellent for cutting or drying.
