Many people love Gasteria not only for its great looks but also for its ability to tolerate lower light conditions which other succulents can't. As a succulent they can be left to dry out a lot longer than most houseplants (typically watering once every 2-4 weeks depending on how quickly they dry out). They can tolerate low light however they will be happiest in bright indirect light. They are slower growing and typically mature at a size of 3-5" making them great as a tabletop plant, or as an addition to a mixed succulent planter!
